Lucy has had two kinds of bones today. The first was a left over rib from my father’s dinner at Tony Romas. The second was a white chocolate bone from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. It turns out that only dark chocolate is poison to dogs. She loved both of the treats. What a spoiled sweetheart!
His name is Bruno and he is the new boxer puppy next door. He is so adorable! We introduced them gradually with a lot of supervision and now they can run around and play together. Lucy is really gentle with him! This is amazing because she usually doesn’t get along with other dogs. They are good friends! She begs to go outside and see him!
For more pictures of Bruno and Lucy together see the Bruno and Lucy set on Flickr.
In other news, Lucy is no longer so upset by the sounds of the washer and dryer. She is much calmer while I am doing laundry. I just pet her a lot and tell her it’s going to be okay. She seems resigned to the fact that every week there will be these sounds that she doesn’t like and she just deals with it. What a good dog!!
We are going camping in a few weeks. This is Lucy’s favorite thing to do! I’ll be sure to get some good photos~
