Lucy picked up a bad habit while we were gone on vacation. We left her here with the Animal Nanny coming to visit her three times a day while we were gone for 5 days. No, she didn’t start smoking. She has started getting on the forbidden couch! You see we have one good couch. One non-dog couch. Lucy can sit on the other couch, her chair and the satelite dish chair but she is not supposed to get on the forbidden couch! Alas, we weren’t here to remind her of that fact and now she just casually jumps onto it and my husband goes completely bonkers! It’s really bad. And now that she’s done it, I think it will be hard to get her to stop. I am going to play a concert out of town tonight and he is working in town so I put the biggest hardback books we have all over the couch to discourage her. I hope it works!
Today Lucy met her cousin Darcy! They sniffed each other and they didn’t bark! Maybe they can learn to get along and play together! Quite a milestone for Lucy who rarely gets along with other dogs!
